Then fight it out in court yourself. Usually judges are a lot more lenient if it is your first offense. If you do go to court, remember to use only short, concise answers that strictly adheres to the question and only speak when prompted to by the judge. And whatever you do, DO NOT rant about the officer. The police are upholders of the law, and as such, the courts are biased in their favor, so telling the judge about how the officer was such a prick will just make you look bad.
